Task 1 – Pre-production

Proposal
Prepared by
Nicola Howard

For our media production, we will be creating a 30 second advertisement, trying to convince the public to buy our product, Lucozade Sport. We will be targeting an audience of young adults and teenagers. This is because they are the most active and energetic people. Our advert will be aimed at both male and females. The advertisement will show how the drink performs by giving people energy.

The advertisement will be shot in a dance studio where the lighting is homely and there is a large space. The advert will be about two girls who are dancing and get tired, then they drink Lucozade Sport and feel energized and carry on dancing.

Contingency Plan
Name: Nicola Howard

Production: Lucozade Sport - Dance

Potential problems and how to overcome these problems:

There could be a few problems with our production. These are;

- We may have problems with not having the dance studio free at times. We will overcome this by doing a time plan of when we can film during each day.

- We need to be very careful when filming in case any of the dancers has an accident. We can prevent this by not doing anything too dangerous and limiting ourselves to what we can do, personally, when dancing.

- There may not be the right equipment free during the times we are filming. We will overcome this by making sure we keep the right time schedule and not changing the dates. This will make sure that we definitely have the equipment we need.
